IAM Engineer

Our client is seeking an IAM Engineer who designs, implements, and supports enterprise identity and access solutions. This role focuses on delivering scalable, secure IAM capabilities that reduce risk and support access governance across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and enhance IAM solutions with a primary focus on SailPoint IdentityNow / Identity Security Cloud.

Support identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, deprovisioning, access requests, and certifications.

Build and maintain integrations and automation using scripting technologies (e.g., PowerShell, .NET, LDAP).

Partner with application and infrastructure teams to onboard systems and define IAM requirements.

Monitor IAM platform performance; troubleshoot incidents and implement system updates and configuration changes.

Support audits, risk assessments, and validation of identity security controls.

Maintain IAM architecture, standards, and technical documentation.

Participate in after-hours support and planned maintenance as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on enterprise experience with SailPoint IdentityNow / Identity Security Cloud (required).

Strong knowledge of IAM concepts, identity governance, authentication, and authorization.

Experience with role-based access control and enterprise application security (e.g., SAP).

Knowledge of privileged access management (PAM) across infrastructure and cloud platforms.

Ability to communicate technical security concepts to non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

5+ years of IAM engineering experience.

SailPoint certification preferred.

Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CIMP, CIST) a plus.
