Location: On-site in Glendale, CA. You'll work from a centrally located Los Angeles-area office, easily commutable from Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, Los Angeles, Alhambra, and nearby communities.

Note: You must be licensed (or pending admission) with the California State Bar, able to work on-site full-time in Glendale, and genuinely interested in plaintiff-side employment, wage-and-hour, and consumer class action litigation. Occasional travel within California is required.

Job Description

Work as a litigation associate on employment, wage-and-hour, and consumer class and representative actions throughout California

Assist with drafting complaints, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents

Handle and support discovery, including written discovery, document review, and preparation for depositions

Participate in law and motion practice, oral advocacy, and court appearances as opportunities arise

Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law and prepare clear, concise analyses for supervising attorneys

Collaborate with a team of attorneys and staff to manage a high-volume docket in both state and federal courts

Communicate with clients, co-counsel, and opposing counsel to move cases forward in a timely and professional manner

Support trial preparation and special litigation projects as needed

Qualifications

Licensed to practice law in California (or awaiting CA Bar results/admission with strong credentials)

0-2 years of civil litigation experience; experience with employment, wage-and-hour, or class actions is a plus but not required

Exposure to discovery, motion practice, oral advocacy, or depositions during law school, clerkships, or prior roles is preferred

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and deadlines

Positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine interest in representing employees and consumers

Ability to travel occasionally within California for hearings, depositions, and case-related needs
