Job Title: Basketball Official (Referee)

Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) Fitness Center

3990 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43213Schedule:

Games are typically held Mondays

Game times are between 1700 and 1900 hours

Up to 35 league and tournament games per seasonKey Responsibilities:

Officiate scheduled basketball league and tournament games in accordance with standard basketball rules and DSCC Fitness Center regulations.

Ensure games are conducted in a safe, fair, and organized manner.

Briefly explain game format, rules, and safety considerations prior to the start of each game.

Communicate official game results to DSCC Fitness Center staff following each game.

Maintain and submit required game documentation, including team and participant information, for inclusion with monthly invoicing.Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrated experience officiating basketball games at the recreational, league, or competitive level.

Ability to officiate independently and make sound judgment calls.

Knowledge of basketball rules, game management, and player safety.
