Objective of job:
To ensure the smooth operation of production equipment on a daily basis.
Principal activities:
Oversee the repair and rebuilding of all production equipment.
Provide feedback on spare part issues to Maintenance Engineer.
Provides daily preventive maintenance according to TPM checklist generated in Optimain.
Provide feedback to Maintenance Engineer on usefulness of current PM and any ideas to improve.
Assess Maintenance Techs for level of competency for equipment knowledge and safety regulations.
Develop trainings for Maintenance Techs in cooperation with HR that are within budget.
Maintain production equipment uptime above targeted set by Draexlmaier Management.
Procure all needed tools for Maintenance Techs to success in the daily duties within budget.
Create and maintain Maintenance Tech work schedules.
Interview and hire new Maintenance Techs when positions are approved.
Requirements:
1 to 2 years of Automotive Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Familiar with TS16949.
3 to 5 years of Manufacturing Maintenance Electrical/Mechanical.
3 to 5 years of Root Cause Analysis experience.
Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics preferred.
