Job Summary

Under general supervision of the Director of Transportation or designee, schedules the efficient utilization of vehicles and drivers in order to meet customer requirements; Creates and dispatches school bus route assignments, including regular school bus runs, special education transportation, field trips and extra duty assignments and assist in resolving operational conflicts. Performs clerical and accounting work of above average difficulty involved in the preparation, reviewing, and maintenance of financial or statistical records, including but not limited to bus trips, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage. Processes the "pay for bus services" program and handles monetary or financial transactions with accuracy and integrity. Handles parent, student, and staff questions regarding District transportation programs. Performs other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.
