Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Food Production supervisor, the Cook prepares, seasons, cooks, portions and serves food for Hospital patients, employees and visitors, including catered functions.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent required within two years of hire

Additional education from technical school specializing in hotel, restaurant or institutional cooking (is preferred)

Minimum of one year of institutional cooking experience

Ability to read/write/speak in English
