Mainframe Assembler

About the Role:

Seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Assembler with an experience of 5 years to join our dynamic team.

Requirements:

Proficiency in the Assembler programming language for IBM mainframes (e.g., IBM z/OS).

Experience in developing and maintaining Assembler programs and modules.

Working knowledge and practical exposure to JCL (Job Control Language) and TSO/ISPF.

Familiarity with IBM mainframe systems and architecture.

Clear understanding of batch processing and job scheduling concepts.

Hands-on experience in unit testing, system integration testing and debugging techniques.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Proven ability to create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.

Strong attention to detail coupled with sound experience in documenting program changes and enhancements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively, both independently and within a team.
