Responsibilities

Provide onsite full stack development support for a data repository and visualization platform. Shape and implement the new cloud architecture for the platform. Technical tasks include the following:

Deploying and maintaining services in the cloud

Building out containerized environments

Maintaining Cloud infrastructure once implemented

Provide input on network design and implementation strategies

Working closely with team members to gather requirements Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Server-side development (Node.js, Python, or similar)

RESTful API and GraphQL design and implementation

Secure, scalable backend service development

Microservices architecture design and implementation

Containerization with Docker

Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms

Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)

NoSQL databases (MongoDB or similar)

Schema design, migrations, indexing, and performance tuning

High-volume and high-concurrency data environments

CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance

Automated testing, deployment, and monitoring

Performance optimization using caching, load balancing, and queueing

Experience with Redis, Memcached, or similar technologies

Working knowledge of JavaScript and modern frameworks (React or Lit)

Ability to partner effectively with frontend teams for seamless integration

Experience supporting LLM-powered or AI-driven applications

Designing systems for mission-critical environments
