We are seeking a skilled and motivated Company Accountant to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Position: Company Accountant

Salary: $77,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation.

Permanent and full-time position

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and budgets.

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Provide strategic financial advice and support to management.

• Monitor cash flow, forecasting, funds and financial performance.

• Oversee tax compliance, including BAS, GST, and income tax returns.

• Collaborate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.

• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and cost control measures.

• Manage and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 1-year full time or equivalent part time experience in a similar accounting role.

• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
