Job Title: Warehouse Associate (3PL)

Overview

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join our third-party logistics (3PL) team. The ideal candidate has experience with order pulling, operating warehouse equipment, and working within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role involves using stand-up reach trucks or order pickers, processing orders in our Warehouse Management System (WMS), and preparing outbound shipments with accuracy and care.

Key Responsibilities

Order Pulling & Material Handling

Pull customer orders from racking using a stand-up reach truck or order picker.

Utilize paper pick tickets or handheld scan guns to accurately locate and retrieve products.

Transport, stage, and organize materials according to warehouse standards.

WMS & Documentation

Process orders through the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including scanning items to confirm accuracy.

Apply shipping labels, packing lists, and any required documentation for outbound orders.

Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in real time.

Shipping & Packaging

Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.

Prepare parcels and freight shipments according to customer and carrier specifications.

Identify and understand various parcel carrier labels (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.).

General Warehouse Operations

Follow standard warehouse procedures for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Comply with all company safety rules, equipment guidelines, and operating procedures.

Qualifications

Experience in a warehouse, 3PL, distribution, or logistics environment preferred.

Ability to operate a stand-up reach truck or order picker (certification a plus).

Familiarity with WMS systems, handheld scanners, and basic computer use.

Ability to read and follow pick tickets, labels, and order documentation.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
