Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide services to meet the social and/or emotional needs that affect the residents’ ability to achieve their highest level of function; participate in the development of residents’ comprehensive care plans; develop policies and procedures to provide social services to residents in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Pay: $65,000 - $72,000 per year

Responsibilities
Develop policies and procedures to provide social services to residents in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
Interview, assess and develop individualized plans to meet residents’ needs.
Assess the facility’s social service program and make recommendations to the Executive Director.
Qualifications
Must be social worker who is licensed by the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners, and who meets the requirements as such set by the State of Texas.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in social work or in a human services field.
Minimum of 1 year of supervised experience in a healthcare setting working directly with individuals is required.
