Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following:
• Lead the development, maintenance, and management of production project information to drive manufacturing efficiency, throughput, and cost optimization across multiple production lines.
• Oversee centralized production databases and resource management systems to ensure accurate scheduling, test plan coordination, and alignment with quality control initiatives.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of production requirements, process flows, and operational challenges, and implement advanced engineering solutions to enhance production system performance.
• Monitor and interpret automotive parts market trends, regulatory changes, safety standards, and material costs to proactively adjust production strategies and ensure compliance.
• Act as the technical liaison between production teams and engineering departments, providing guidance on complex operational needs and implementing technology-driven process improvements.
• Evaluate and optimize ERP-based manufacturing execution systems and production automation tools to maximize resource utilization, efficiency, and traceability.
• Plan, design, and implement configuration and process changes on production lines, ensuring functional and technical requirements are met while minimizing downtime.
• Lead operational cost analysis and provide strategic recommendations for process improvement, automation, and profitability enhancement.
• Develop and execute long-term strategic production plans, including adoption of new technologies and equipment, to achieve scalable, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing processes.
• Mentor junior engineers and production staff, providing technical guidance and fostering continuous learning in production engineering, quality control, and process optimization.
• Lead cross-functional projects, including production transfer, line balancing, and capacity expansion, ensuring timely delivery of objectives while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with at least three years of experience in production support, manufacturing engineering, or industrial operations, preferably in the automotive parts manufacturing industry
