The Company

Our client, is a Hong Kong–based consulting firm specialized in delivering high-impact regulatory, technology, and transformation projects for leading financial institutions. They work closely with top-tier investment banks on large-scale, mission-critical applications across APAC and globally.

The Team

You will join a senior technology team embedded within a global investment bank, working on a strategic application that has already completed Phase 1 and is going live across multiple regions. The team operates in a structured SDLC environment with strong governance, high engineering standards, and close collaboration with business stakeholders.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior / Lead Java Full Stack Analyst Developer (7–15 years) who can work autonomously across the full software development lifecycle. You will play a key role in system design, development, testing, and production support, while contributing to future phases (Phase 2, 3, and beyond) of a globally expanding platform (APAC initially, with Europe and US rollout planned). This is a hands-on technical role in a demanding investment banking environment.

Requirements

7–15 years of professional Java development experience

Strong experience with Java 17 and/or Java 21

Proven ability to handle full SDLC independently (design, analysis, development, testing, deployment)

Experience in Level 3 production support with strong problem-solving skills

Solid exposure to microservices architecture and APIs

Good understanding of Spark, especially performance tuning (not a pure data role)

Experience working in large global or regional application environments with proper governance

Banking / financial services experience is important (basic banking, finance, or accounting knowledge required)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced investment banking environment

Senior profile able to deliver autonomously
