We are looking to hire a Senior Full-Stack Developer (MERN) for our client's Cyprus office, with a clear path to grow into a Lead Developer as the team expands. This is a hands-on engineering role working directly with the head of engineering in Cyprus.

Path to Lead Developer

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our client's fintech engineering team in Cyprus. This is a hands-on role focused on building features, improving the platform, and eventually taking on more responsibility as the team grows.

Role Overview

We want someone who is strong technically, loves building products, and can gradually take ownership of parts of the system.

Essential Skills (MERN)

MERN Stack expertise (mandatory)

MongoDB – schema design, indexing, aggregations

Express / Node.js – REST APIs, async flows, modular structure

React or Next.js – building and maintaining modern UI components

Full-Stack Ownership

Ability to take a feature end-to-end: database backend frontend deploy.

Code Quality & Practices

Solid JavaScript (TypeScript is a plus)

Clean code, reusable modules, API best practices

Strong Git workflow, PR discipline, good debugging skills

Product Delivery

Experience working in product-oriented teams

Ability to move fast, solve problems, and deliver features consistently

Communication & Location

Good English communication

Able to work on-site or hybrid in Cyprus

This is an onsite role in Cyprus. You must have the right to work in the EU i.e. you do not require a work visa AND you are based in Cyprus or plan to relocate to Cyprus.

Salary range 48,000 - 55,000
