CMM Programmer – Aerospace & Defense

Location: Buffalo (East Aurora), NY

Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Salary Range: Up to $42 hourly + comprehensive benefits

What You’ll Do

Develop and implement CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso and PolyWorks for precision inspection.

Prepare electronic code and detailed inspection instructions for numerical-controlled (N/C) equipment.

Ensure compatibility of engineering drawings, design data, and fabrication methods with CMM capabilities.

Provide training and guidance to machinists, quality auditors, and technicians on CMM operation.

Resolve CAI system compatibility issues and support Manufacturing Engineers with measurement and process improvements.

Apply advanced GD&T principles and manufacturing knowledge to evaluate designs and resolve inspection issues.

Create solid models using CAD systems as needed.

What You Bring

Associate degree (or equivalent) in a technical field.

5+ years of manufacturing and inspection experience.

3+ years of CMM inspection/programming experience.

Advanced knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and metrology.

Experience with Zeiss Calypso and PolyWorks strongly preferred.

Excellent problem-solving skills, technical communication, and attention to detail.
