HPC - Software Integration Engineer - Linux, Bash, Ansible

Description

The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for the automation and system testing, to include the creation of technical artifacts and the coordination of deployment activities in designated HPC Linux environments.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment. Five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work and six (6) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment may be substituted for a degree.

Required skills:

Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools.

Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, deploy test environments, and execute test suites.

Experience with IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible.

Experience with DevOps processes and related FOSS toolchains.

Experience with CI/CD concepts, principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab.

Experience integrating metrics and monitoring frameworks including Splunk.

Experience creating documentation for reporting integration results to relevant stakeholders. Desired skills:

Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaboration

Experience with Git Source Control System Benefits

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $210,000 - $227,000.
