Software Engineer - Aurora, CO - Active TS/SCI with Security

Software Engineer is needed for a contract opportunity with SOCs client onsite inAurora, CO *Contract Length: 12 months *Must Have Active TS/SCI Clearance Job Description: * Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems.

* Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.

What You Will Learn * A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design.

* Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.

* Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects.

* Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.

Qualifications You Must Have * Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant software engineering experience.

* Experience developing object-oriented software using Java and C++. * Experience developing software in a Linux environment.

* Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket.

* Experience developing software on the M2C2 or Rushmore program * An active and transferable U.S.

government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.

U.S.

citizenship is required, as only U.S.

citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer * Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology.

* Experience developing software using Python.

* Experience with AMMP, Cucumber, GIT, Khaos (M2C2 FD), Kubernetes, Oracle, Postgres, SonarQube, Weblogic, WIGS/Angular.

* Experience with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.

* Experience working with full stack development.
