What you will do:
Acts for Administrator to relieve non-routine administrative duties related to Oil and Gas administrative processes. Independently answers complex inquiries. Coordinates and supports activities related to unitization mandatory pooling and unitization pursuant to ORC 1509.27 and 1509.28 (e.g., assists in drafting, mailing, and tracking notices, facilitates pre-hearing meetings of staff, serves as a liaison regarding program administration, including to the public).
Attends, facilitates, and participates in hearings. Prepares and routes draft orders and issues final orders.
Serves as liaison for the Section regarding program administration.
Develops project proposals, provides technical advice to aid administrators in decision making, makes recommendations to administrator from researched material (e.g., reviews transcripts from hearings).
Manages business functions of assigned area. Administers special programs and projects. Assists in tracking state contracts.
The program area for this position is Statewide Unitization & Mandatory Pooling.
Starting hourly pay of $26.92/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 3.5 years of service, with an end salary of $33.35/hr.

36 months training or 36 months experience in business administration, management science or public administration. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license.
-OR completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration AND 12 months of training or 12 months of experience in supervisory, administrative and/or managerial position which involved limited research & public contact. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license.
-OR completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file AND 12 months of training or 12 months of experience in supervisory, administrative, managerial and/or staff position which involved limited research & public contact. If assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of Revised Code, applicants must also have valid commercial driver's license.
