The Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking candidates for a clinical leadership position. This academic appointment will be in the appointment stream, commensurate with the applicant's background, academic productivity, and leadership skills. Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of leadership, excellent communication skills, should be board-certified in Critical Care Medicine, and have obtained an M.D degree.
About the Department:
The Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh is one of the only stand-alone academic departments focusing on critical care medicine in the United States. Along with its clinical partner UPMC, department faculty provide clinical services to critically ill adult and pediatric patients across the 30+ hospital UPMC health system. The Department's research activities span bench-to-bedside-to-population health, supported by over $20 million in NIH funding and two T32 training grants.
Rank and/or title; salary range or minimum:
Appointment rank of Professor, non-tenure is anticipated. Appointment at the rank and salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
