Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the plumbing industry
Demonstrated success in sales/business development, operations management, project management, and team leadership
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop department managers, supervisors, and field teams (service, construction, estimating, administration, etc.)
Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork
Develop and implement company policies, procedures, and performance metrics
Must be a US citizen or have a Green Card
2. Operations Oversight
Oversee daily operations of plumbing service and construction projects
Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation across multiple teams
Manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
3. Financial Management
Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Monitor key financial indicators including revenue, margins, job costing, and cash flow
Approve purchasing and expenditures in accordance with company policy
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance profitability and efficiency
4. Business Development & Client Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors
Support estimating and sales teams in preparing bids, proposals, and negotiating contracts
Identify new market opportunities and service offerings to drive revenue growth
5. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local plumbing codes and licensing requirements
Oversee safety programs, training initiatives, and compliance documentation
Promote a proactive culture of safety and risk management
6. Strategic Planning
Collaborate with ownership to define short- and long-term business goals
Analyze market trends and company performance to guide strategic decisions
Implement systems, technologies, and processes to support scalable growth
