We would like to hire an intern for a Mechanical Engineer. They would be working on projects related to safety improvements, environmental improvements, process improvements, scrap refeed automation.
Requirements:
Education - Pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/Controls, Industrial, preferred)
Ideal candidate will also demonstrate:
Solid academic performance
Demonstrated leadership skills
Basic understanding of production processes
Solid team skills
Strategic and creative thinking
MS Office proficiency
Skills:
3D modeling (solid works)
Basic mechanical engineering knowledge: motors, gear boxes, conveyors, machining, welding, hydraulics
Solving basic process problems
Working in team atmosphere
Working with various teams inside the plant (maint., Productions, Warehouse, Batch Plant)
