Rate: Open Are You a Front-End UI/UX Developer Who Delivers Modern, Scalable Web Experiences? QSSHire is partnering with a secure government customer to identify a Front-End UI/UX Developer to support the development of modern, responsive, cloud-hosted web applications. This role is ideal for a developer who excels at crafting intuitive user interfaces while also contributing across the full application stack. You will join a hands-on technical team supporting mission-critical systems, delivering user-focused solutions that meet enterprise performance, scalability, and security expectations. In This Role, You’ll:

Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end user interfaces using modern web technologies

Apply UI/UX best practices to improve usability, accessibility, and performance

Develop front-end components using JavaScript and Angular (recent versions; AngularJS experience alone is not sufficient)

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and application services

Contribute to full-stack development efforts, including server-side logic and database interactions

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:

Strong hands-on experience in front-end and web application development

Demonstrated full-stack development experience Proficiency with:

Java

SQL

JavaScript

Angular (recent versions)

Experience working with AWS cloud technologies, including S3 and EC2

Experience developing responsive, cross-browser web applications

Ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced Agile teams Bonus Points If You Have:

Experience designing reusable UI components or design systems

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures

Experience supporting applications in cloud-hosted environments

Exposure to DevSecOps or CI/CD pipelines
