Location: Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire

Start Date: ASAP / February 2026

Contract: Full-time, Long-term

Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 per annum

The Role:

Supply Desk is seeking a confident and motivated Maths Teacher for a supportive secondary school in Abbots Langley. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, supporting students to develop confidence and strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver structured and engaging Maths lessons

Monitor and assess pupil progress

Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour

Work collaboratively within the Maths department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS or equivalent

Have strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching Maths to GCSE

Be enthusiastic, reliable, and organised

Demonstrate effective classroom management
