Responsibilities:
Completing monitoring, reporting, and record keeping for state and federal regulations and per company policies.
Perform audits, inspections, calculations, report preparation, and documentation.
Provide expedient service to the facilityâ s equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and quality performance involved with maintaining the boiler room.
Maintain building conditions for the boiler room. This includes controls and mechanical and pneumatic knowledge.
The position is responsible for the following key equipment: boilers and compressors.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required equipment service
Inform appropriate management and maintenance associates of potential mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved
Assist other maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting
Duties will include sludge handling, maintaining steam flow to the plant
Continuous monitoring throughout the shift
Adhering to all safety and environmental policiesRequirements:
This position is required to have general knowledge of general building maintenance (minor mechanical and electrical repairs) heat pump units, booster pumps, lift pumps, fire systems, power failure recovery, natural gas systems, steam and condensate systems.
Job will require associate to work in high paced work environment.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
Able to use hand tools and power tools
Able to work well and communicate with others to assist with repairs and troubleshooting Pay: $20.24/Hour
