Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description

Columbus, OH $34/hr + $100/day Per Diem 60+ Hrs/Wk

Step onto one of the most complex electrical stages in the Midwest: a major data center build in Columbus. We’re looking for a Project Engineer who can orchestrate documentation, keep the communication currents flowing, and support the project team from planning to turnover.

This role is ideal for anyone with PE/APM experience or a technically sharp Foreman ready to transition into a documentation-heavy coordination role. Electrical experience is preferred, but strong MEP or GC candidates are fully in play.

What You’ll Do

• Handle RFIs, submittals, logs, and project documentation

• Act as the central link between field teams and the office

• Support day-to-day construction operations and scheduling

• Interface with vendors and subcontractors

• Assist with coordination of electrical and MEP systems

• Contribute to QA/QC and resolve field-level issues

What You Bring

• Background in electrical construction, MEP, or GC environments

• Experience as a PE, APM, or technical Foreman

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Ability to work 60+ hours weekly

• Construction Management degree preferred
