Summary:
The Material Handler supports production and inventory operations. This role focuses on picking, packing, and preparing materials for production work orders and inventory cycle counts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production work orders.
Accurately label, stage, and store materials in assigned warehouse locations.
Perform inventory transactions in the system (GS or ERP) to ensure accurate stock levels.
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against packing slips and purchase orders.
Support cycle counts and assist in resolving inventory discrepancies.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work areas.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Deliver materials to production, fabrication, or other departments as scheduled.
Communicate shortages, damages, or stock issues to the Materials Manager.
Follow all company safety procedures and support continuous improvement in material flow.
Education and Experience
Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read packing slips, part labels, and work orders.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other similar material handling equipment
Experience with ERP/Inventory systems is ideal
Drivers license required.
Pay negotiable based on experience and skill set.
Monday - Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Fridays 8:00am-12:00pm
40 hours a week
