Lead Optometric Technician

University Vision Centre – El Paso, TX

University Vision Centre is hiring a Lead Optometric Technician to oversee and support our clinical technician team. The ideal candidate is experienced, highly organized, and ready to take on a leadership role in a busy, patient-focused practice.

Responsibilities:

Guide and mentor technician staff

Perform advanced pre-testing and assist doctors

Maintain efficient patient flow and high care standards

Flexibility to work at both East and West El Paso locations based on department needs and, secondarily, scheduling needs

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as an optometric technician

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Strong clinical and communication skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
