Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk Technician to join the Myers Controlled Power, LLC team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support and troubleshooting, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service to our team.
Duties:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for users via phone, email, remote, or in person for all locations
- Assist with the setup and configuration of computer hardware, software, phone systems, company issued phones, etc.
- Maintain and document all support interactions and solutions in the ticketing system.
- Analyze and determine service priorities, plan daily schedule, and investigate user complaints
- Documentation and rollout of IT policies and procedures
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Provide Tier I and Tier II support
- Travel to other locations if needed
Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in a Help Desk IT support role
- Introduction to DNS, Windows Server, Linux, FortiGate, and Office applications
- Proficient with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
