Key Responsibilities

IT BA experience in trading (Front/Middle Office), Exchange-traded derivatives & trade lifecycle, Commodity trading – Oil & Gas, Regulatory knowledge (MiFID II, EMIR, FCA), Market data systems (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, TradingScreen), FIX engineering, Scripting (Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL), Messaging systems & network protocols

Builds strong relationships with traders and business stakeholders

Works collaboratively with global teams; approachable and team-focused

Proactively identifies areas for improvement and drives change

Top 5 Must-Have Skills & Experience:

Strong understanding of commodity trading (oil & gas), particularly front-office environments

Ability to analyze application functionality and propose enhancements with a product mindset

Experience writing Agile stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, and performing regression/functional testing

Background working in fast-paced, complex trading systems with end-to-end visibility

Confidence collaborating with developers, UI teams, and trading desks
