Why This Role Matters

As a founding backend engineer, you’ll help shape the core logic that powers real-time, intelligent workflows across manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain. Your work will unlock faster decisions, tighter coordination, and adaptive operations for the people driving the defense tech revolution.What You’ll Own

Architecting and implementing backend services in Django and PostgreSQL

Designing and exposing GraphQL APIs to support AI agents and real-time frontends

Building secure, scalable models for production, procurement, and inventory

Optimizing database performance and ensuring system reliability at scale

Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based environments, and deployment workflows

Enabling real-time orchestration across human and AI agentsWhat You Bring

5+ years of backend or full-stack experience with production systems

Mastery of Python, Django, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL

Experience designing secure APIs with clear access control

A track record of owning features end to end — from design to deployment

Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and cross-disciplinary problem-solving

Bonus: Familiarity with FEDRAMP, ITAR/DFARS, or secure multi-tenant architectures

Bonus: Experience with WebSockets, real-time systems, or frontend debugging in React
