Software Engineer with Security Clearance

Pay Estimated: $60-$67/Hour Top Secret Clearance Make the world's most advanced SDA O&I/GMI even smarter by supporting the SDA team as a PWSA Enterprise Level Engineer. The Ground Management and Integration (GMI) program is part of the PWSA program. It continues the Ground Segment work underway on the Tranche 1 (T1) Operations and Integration (O&I) program. Responsibilities: * As a Software Engineer for the SDA GMI program, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional team developing and deploying state-of-the-art ground operational systems. Your work will directly contribute to the success and innovation of the program. Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law * Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. * Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. * 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred. Preferred Experience: * Programming and Scripting: * Proficiency in Python and Java * Strong understanding of API design, testing, development, and management * Familiarity with Scaled Agile methodology and best practices * DevOps and Continuous Integration: * Knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, automation, configuration management, and infrastructure as code * Experience with AWS (AWS Solutions Architect preferred), Azure is a plus * Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes * Security Testing: * Understanding of security best practices, risk, compliance, vulnerability management, encryption, PKI, incident response, auditing, and monitoring Tools: * CI/CD and Development: * GitLab, Nexus Managed Artifacts, Ansible, Terragrunt, ArgoCD * VS Code, Maven * Cloud and Containerization: * AWS: EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, EBS/EFS, VPC, DNS, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail * Kubernetes, Docker * Security Testing: * ACAS/Grype vulnerability scanning, SIEM (Splunk), Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) * Version Control and Collaboration: : * Git, Jira, Confluence This position can be fully remote/telework, fully on-site, or Hybrid.
