Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Lead Distribution Engineer to join our Energy Group.

As Western Australia's largest Energy team, we are passionate about advancing the transition to more sustainable and resilient energy systems for our communities and future generations. Our projects span the entire energy supply chain - from renewables to hydrogen, power generation, transmission, and distribution - in WA, nationally and oversees. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work across utility, mining and renewable projects, and will see you involved in:

Performing engineering analysis to produce optimised solutions for power projects.

Providing input for design proposals, feasibility studies, and technical reports.

Preparation of drawings, cost estimates and technical specifications.

Performing Quality Assurance checks for work completed by others.

Maintaining a solid understanding of relevant codes, technical standards, and guidelines.

Undertaking risk assessments and complete Safety in Design activities on assigned projects.

Contributing to Quality and HSE compliance, and seek opportunities for continuous improvement in our systems and processes.

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Minimum 5 years industry experience (utility or consulting environment preferable).

Demonstrated experience in delivery of complex distribution projects requiring underground and overhead solutions.

Knowledge of Australian standards relevant to distribution design.

Strong communications skills and ability to influence stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes for projects.
