Seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with over 10 years of experience in Java and Collibra to design, build, and optimize scalable enterprise data governance solutions. This hybrid role based in the Metro DC area offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data integration projects, collaborating closely with data governance and engineering teams to innovate and automate metadata management processes.
Job Responsibilities
Design and develop Java-based web applications integrating with Collibra and Edge Servers.
Build RESTful APIs and microservices to interact with Collibra APIs.
Develop user-friendly UI components using React, Angular, or Vue.js for data governance dashboards.
Customize and extend Collibra workflows using BPMN and process orchestrator engines.
Automate metadata ingestion, data lineage tracking, and governance processes via Collibra APIs and Edge Servers.
Configure and optimize Collibra Edge Servers for secure and efficient data ingestion.
Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, or AWS Glue.
Implement event-driven data ingestion with message queues such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
Ensure backend services are optimized for scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to improve data quality and ingestion efficiency. Required skills

Job Requirements
Minimum 10 years of full stack development experience with Java.
Proven expertise with Collibra APIs, Java SDK, workflows, and Edge Server configuration.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API and microservice development using frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus.
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with Kafka, NiFi, or AWS Glue.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Understanding of metadata management, data governance, and data lineage concepts.
Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, LDAP).
Knowledge of data privacy regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, and FedRAMP compliance.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in Agile teams.
U.S. Citizenship with active DHS clearance.
