Manufacturing Engineer

Direct-Hire Full-Time Onsite First Shift Hours

$60,000 – $80,000 base salary (depending on experience)

A leading manufacturer near Muncie, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or someone with several years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment who’s looking to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented company.

You’ll report directly to the Engineering Manager and play a key role in improving production processes, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring efficient, high-quality output.

What You’ll Do:

Support daily production by troubleshooting equipment or process issues

Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Production

Assist in the design and modification of tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing layouts

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

0–3+ years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing setting

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field

Solid understanding of manufacturing principles and mechanical processes

Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach

Willingness to work onsite and engage directly with production teams
