Compensation: $15/hr
Schedule: PT (between hours of 8am and 4pm, M-F)

What You’ll Do
As a Cannabis Sock Packer, you’ll play a key role in preparing cannabis biomass for various extraction methods. Your responsibilities will include:
Working with and inspecting our cannabis biomass
Loading cannabis biomass into nylon socks, packing them tightly to prepare for extraction
Cleaning around the sock packing station and keeping it tidy
Reviewing and following safety and quality control requirements
Keeping accurate records of the materials being processed.
Quality control: Inspecting the product for any abnormalities.
Communicates all perceived issues, maintenances needs, troubleshooting, and out of scope wants or needs clearly to Leads and extraction manager
Completes other temporarily needed tasks as assigned by the extraction manager
A sock packer may also assist the extraction team with other lab tasks.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Background in natural product extraction (closed loop extraction systems to include BHO, essential oil extraction, etc.) desired.
Experience working in a commercial kitchen, construction, or other physically demanding jobs
An excellent communicator who isn't afraid to admit mistakes, ask for help or clarification.
Highly motivated, strong organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with quality control, policy and procedure and documentation.
Ability to work as part of a team with cohesive aspects.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn and improve.
A “Can DO!” attitude
Ability to contribute to a positive and productive work environment
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in a laboratory environment without regular sensitivity to noise or strong smells
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to maintain attention to detail for at least 11 hours per day
Must be able to bend, lift, and stop continuously
Lift 50 pounds unassisted or up to 80 pounds assisted regularly
Must be able to obtain a Missouri DCR-issued Agent ID and pass a federal fingerprinting background check.
