CTG is looking for a C# Developer who can build and support custom add-ins and integrations for Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD, and Inventor. You'll work in Visual Studio, tap into Autodesk APIs, and use MVVM to keep UI components organized and easy to maintain. This role works closely with engineering and CAD teams, so you'll be part developer, part translator, and part problem-solver.

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities

Build, test, and deploy C# add-ins for Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD, and Inventor.

Use Autodesk APIs to add custom functionality and improve engineering workflows.

Apply MVVM patterns for UI components in WPF.

Collaborate with engineering and CAD teams to gather requirements and shape solutions.

Maintain and upgrade existing add-ins, including compatibility updates and performance improvements.

Troubleshoot issues and deliver fixes with a practical, hands-on mindset.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong C# and .NET Framework/Core experience.

Proficiency with Visual Studio.

Solid understanding of MVVM and WPF data binding.

Hands-on experience with Autodesk Vault, AutoCAD .NET, and Inventor APIs.

Strong grasp of OOP principles and common design patterns.

Ability to work with REST and SOAP APIs, plus XML and JSON formats.

Background in Windows desktop application development.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Autodesk Platform Services or cloud integrations.

Familiarity with SQL Server and database interaction.

Exposure to Agile environments.

Previous experience developing engineering or CAD automation tools.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
