Anderson School District Three is seeking a passionate and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. The SLP will provide assessment, therapy, and support to help students overcome potential challenges that impact learning and social development. Working collaboratively with teachers, families, and school teams, this professional will play a vital role in helping every child find their voice and reach their full potential.
1. Screens, evaluates, and diagnoses speech/language disorders and determines student eligibility for enrollment in the speech/language program.
2. Develops goals, objectives, methods, and materials to assist students in achieving their highest potential.
3. Provides speech/language services in full compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
4. Maintains student records in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
5. Consults with principals, clinicians, teachers, parents, and other agencies as needed.
6. Strives to maintain and improve professional competency.
7. Attends school and district staff meetings and serves on committees as required.
8. Participates in staff development programs.
9. Performs other duties as directed.
Qualifications
1. Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
2. Valid South Carolina certification in Speech Pathology or eligible for certification
3. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence
4. Licensure by the SC Board of Examiners preferred but not required

REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent/Director of Special Services
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Director of Special Services
