Job Title: Citrix Engineer

Duration: Long Term

Location: Long Island City, NY

Note: Only W2 Candidates

Overview: This position is to serve as the primary system engineer responsible for supporting and maintaining our Citrix XenApp environment of more than 500 concurrent users. Candidate will be working in a team of 2 engineers on Citrix infrastructure related tasks and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintains and supports existing Citrix environment consist of Xenapp 7 and NetScaler

Upgrade existing Citrix environment to Citrix SaSS infrastructure

Deploy and support applications to the Citrix environment.

Manage and participate in the daily remote user support.

Performs periodic assessment and provide management with recommendations for upgrades and maintenance ensure the system is running optimally.

Work with other team members to support and improve remote field site operation.

Follow and enforce IT policies and procedures.

Efficiently manage daily work queue. Required education and experience:

5+ years of technical experience with Citrix Xenapp, StoreFront and Citrix Web Interface

Experience with Netscaler appliance

Experience with Windows Powershell scripting.

Experience with Microsoft Terminal Server and Operating System

Experience with Windows GPO and registry

Experience with enterprise software distribution.

Experience in support role for Citrix or remote related services.

Strong Written and Verbal Communications

Knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop is a plus.
