Description

Essential Functions:

Stocks materials on shelves in warehouse.

Labels all parts with part numbers and all other pertinent information.

Pulls and dispenses materials as per bill of material for production.

Delivers materials to installation area per request.

Operates a forklift as needed to unload, load, and transport materials and supplies to warehouse and production areas.

Turns in necessary paperwork to inventory control and reports any shortages to warehouse manager.

Delivers materials from warehouse to corporate offices.

Basic cleaning duties.

Unloads trucks and shipments occasionally.

Assists in training new warehouse personnel.

Other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor. Skills:

Must be a Certified Forklift Operator or satisfactorily pass an in-company forklift training program.

Basic math skills.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Good judgment and attention to detail.

Ability to read, comprehend and assimilate information.

Ability to maintain satisfactory working relationships and interact effectively with all levels of employees.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets. Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time while driving and operating a forklift.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time while working in industrial setting.

Job requires clarity of vision, with or without corrective lenses.

Ability to bend and stoop occasionally.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Ability to work in an industrial environment with some exposure to fumes, vapors, grease, oil and dust. Some exposure to temperature extremes due to weather in areas without climate control.

Ability to work around moving heavy equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and large trucks at the unloading dock.

Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as steel-toe shoes, ear plugs, and safety glasses.

Education Requirements

Must possess a high school diploma or GED Other Requirements

Must pass drug screen

Must pass criminal background check
