Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer with deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, microservices, serverless architectures, and cloud-native backend engineering. This role requires strong technical ownership, architectural understanding, and the ability to build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of strong hands-on backend experience, primarily with Node.js.

Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Hands-on experience with backend frameworks such as Fastify or Express.

Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architectures.

Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions & Workflows.

Solid experience with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.

Deep understanding of REST API design principles and best practices.

Strong knowledge of backend security - authentication, authorization, encryption, tokenization, and secure API design.

Experience with observability and performance monitoring tools (OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).

Proven experience in building or supporting platform-level systems (API gateways, rate limiting, orchestration flows). Bonus / Preferred Skills

Understanding of AI platform concepts:

Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized services.

Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.

Background in developer productivity, internal tooling, or platform engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.

Architect and implement scalable microservices and serverless functions.

Build and optimize CI/CD automation workflows using GitHub Actions.

Ensure backend systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.

Implement observability and monitoring standards across services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.

Lead debugging, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.

Contribute to architectural improvements and platform scalability initiatives.
