RivetStays is hiring an Internal Automation Engineer to build and maintain automations that streamline internal workflows, integrate our tools, and reduce manual effort across teams. You’ll design reliable systems that connect APIs, databases, platforms like Airtable and n8n/Make, and deploy automation services on AWS.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain Python automation services, jobs, and internal tooling
Develop and support APIs (REST/webhooks) to connect systems and trigger workflows
Create and maintain automated web scraping solutions using ChromeDriver/Selenium when APIs aren’t available
Design and support data workflows with Supabase (Postgres)
Deploy and operate services on AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway)
Orchestrate business workflows using Airtable and n8n or Make
Implement AI-enabled automations (classification, routing, extraction, summarization) with practical safeguards
Use GitHub for version control, PR reviews, and collaboration
Containerize and ship services using Docker
Add reliability practices: logging, monitoring, retries, and clear documentation
