PCB Assembler

PGS Worldwide is currently seeking a reliable PCB Assembler to join a manufacturing team in Endicott, NY. This is a 1-year contract-to-hire opportunity. We are looking for a dedicated individual with previous manufacturing experience who is ready to perform detailed assembly, bonding, and soldering tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Language: Must be able to read, speak, and understand English to follow written work instructions.

Computer Literacy: Basic computer knowledge is required for accessing instructions and tracking work.

Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Education: GED or High School Diploma is required.

Soft Skills: Must be reliable, have consistent transportation, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills

Soldering: Prior hands-on experience soldering printed circuit boards.

Microscope: Experience performing assembly or inspection work under a microscope.

Education: High School Diploma is preferred.

Job Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for the physical assembly of electronic components. You will work with small parts and detailed instructions to ensure quality production.

Assemble, bond, and solder printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to specifications.

Read and interpret written work instructions to determine assembly methods.

Use a microscope to perform fine detail work and inspection.

Utilize basic computer systems to view instructions and record data.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation while adhering to safety protocols.
