ZIB is the central IT service provider for the justice system in Lower Saxony and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with around 23,500 clients. Together with our 400 colleagues, we also run numerous digitization projects for a modern justice system.

To strengthen our team in the areaWindows Server, Fabric, Containerization, Storage & Backup, we are looking for the next possible date a

System Administrator Citrix VAD (f/m/d)

Your tasks As part of the team, you will operate parts of the IT infrastructure used in the Lower Saxony judiciary based on solutions from Microsoft, Citrix, Netapp, FSAS, RedHat, Citrix, Veeam and others

You will be involved in IT projects, e.g. the introduction of new technologies, the modernization of existing infrastructures or the implementation of automation and cloud solutions

What sets you apart A relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) or equivalent skills and experience

good knowledge of Citrix technologies, in particular the server side of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (e.g. PVS, StoreFront) and the Citrix XenServer virtualization platform

Ideally, you have previous knowledge in the operation and administration of Citrix environments in hybrid or cloud scenarios (e.g. Citrix Cloud) and in interaction with modern Windows server and client operating systems

In addition, we would welcome experience in the automation of recurring tasks and processes, e.g. using PowerShell scripts or configuration management tools

Ability to work in a team, initiative and service orientation

German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and IT-standard English language skills

The willingness to carry out a security check in accordance with § 7 para. 1 of the Nds.
