Job Position: Wire Cutter

Location: Spring Grove, IL 60081

Pay Rate: $15.50-$16.00

Shift: 1st

Job Duration: Ongoing

Description:

Identify proper specifications from cut sheets and job orders

Manually and digitally set-up wire cutting machines to job specifications

Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of wire cutting machines for proper set-up and operation

Inspect products to ensure they are within specifications

Minimize scrap through proper operation, maintenance, set-up of machines

Communicate problems with machine operation and set-up to supervisor

Miscellaneous other duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Stripe wire using wire striping machine

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Ability to see and differentiate colors. Corrected vision that allows reading of small alphanumeric print at a distance of 12-18 inches

Ability to lift boxes and spools of wire up to 70 pounds

Ability to while standing, many tasks require standing all day

Ability to maintain a brisk pace and meet generally accepted production rates
