Requirements<\/h3>

Requirements of the DT - Dialysis Technician

<\/div>

MUST have DT certification in the state of Ohio

<\/span li>

MUST hold a current CPR Certification

<\/span li>

MUST be authorized to Work in the US without Sponsorship

<\/span li>

Responsibilities of the DT - Dialysis Technician

<\/span li ul>

Responsibilities of the DT - Dialysis Technician:

<\/div>

Obtains and documents pre -dialysis vital signs to include weight and temperature Inspects patient’s dialysis access and inserts needed and initiates dialysis according to unit protocol and patient prescription

<\/span li>

Prepares dialysate according to established procedures and patient’s prescription

<\/span li>

Measures, calculates and adjusts blood flow rates according to established protocols and prescription

<\/span li>

Administers anticoagulant according to unit protocols and prescription

<\/span li>

Changes fluid removal rate and patient position and administers Normal Saline as directed by RN, ALP order or unit protocol
