POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Analyst, Business Process Improvement and VOS, supports senior members of the Business Process Improvement (BPI) team in identifying, analyzing, and executing improvement opportunities across the Opportunity-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI), and Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes within the Americas region. This role contributes to process assessments, project coordination, data analysis, and tool/system enhancements aligned to the Vertiv Operating System (VOS) governance model.

Success in this role requires strong analytical capability, a process improvement mindset, the ability to translate observations into actionable recommendations, and the interpersonal skills needed to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT SUPPORT

Support Project Managers in planning and executing assigned projects, including meeting coordination, follow-up actions, workshop scheduling, documentation preparation, and stakeholder communication.

Create and maintain project documentation (e.g., Gantt charts, requirements, RACI charts, SOPs, training materials).

Manage multiple project assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & ANALYSIS

Conduct data analysis, prepare process maps, and assist in identifying improvement opportunities across OTC, PTP, NPDI, and SIOP processes.

Facilitate or co-facilitate value-stream mapping and process improvement workshops under the guidance of Project Managers.

Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to the development of future-state designs and implementation plans.

GOVERNANCE & STANDARDS

Apply the Vertiv Operating System (VOS) framework to support consistent project execution and process governance.

Assist in documenting current-state and future-state processes and track progress against project timelines.

STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity of communication and alignment of deliverables.

Partner with IT to support adoption of process improvements and system/tool implementations.

Collaborate with Learning & Development to support training materials, validation sessions, and logistics.

TECHNOLOGY & REPORTING

Develop and maintain project tools, dashboards, and reporting packages in Excel, Power BI, JIRA, or other systems as required.

Identify opportunities to improve or automate business processes through better use of data, systems, and workflow tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline. 2-4 years of experience.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; other languages are a plus. Good communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal/external functions.

Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve complex problems. Good attention to details.

Technical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (experience in Power BI preferred).

Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a positive team dynamic. Strong, proven business partnering mentality; has the maturity and awareness to strike the right balance between facilitating and challenging the business.

Adaptability: Can adapt to change and navigate uncertainty. Ability to effectively manage time and resources against agreed deadlines for activities. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.
