Account Administrator
The Account Administrator II is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and dispatching of drivers to move our customers' freight. The role owns the relationship with our valued Independent Contractors and is instrumental in the successful coordination of the timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the coordination, scheduling, and dispatching of customer freight
Negotiating rates with customers, drivers, and carriers
Ensure all customer instructions are entered into the system
Develop a strong relationship with Independent Contractors within fleet
Respond to customers efficiently, thoroughly, and professionally
Manage customer and driver expectations to align with operational capabilities
Work cooperatively with customer service to provide solutions for customers' needs and resolve issues
Regular and dependable attendance
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volume of transactions
Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Skills:
Ideal candidate will possess a "can do" attitude with a "will do" work ethic
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Transportation industry knowledge and experience is a plus
Prior dispatch/load planning experience is a plus
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.
