Job Description
Staff Accountant The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance and accounting team by performing a variety of accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with audits. This role ensures accuracy and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. This position is direct hire and will pay between $50K and $62K annually. Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations
Prepare financial reports and assist with variance analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-3 years of accounting experience preferred but strong internship experience will also be considered
Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
