Senior Machine Operator

Location: Carol Stream, IL (onsite, Monday–Friday)

Pay: $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience

Bonus: Generous bonus ($3K - $10K)

Type: Full-time, permanent

About the Company

This small manufacturing group specializes in producing non-metallic materials into custom, die-cut components for industrial use. With a great team, this is a place where everyone matters and every day moves fast. What You’ll Be Doing

Operate converting equipment including die-cutters, shears, laminators, and punch presses

Review production specs and pull necessary materials from inventory

Prep and cut materials for jobs, calculating yield and part counts

Set up, run, and monitor machines to ensure product accuracy and quality

Record production data and track jobs through to completion

Help manage workflow and shift between machines based on priority

Assist with onboarding and training of new team members

Perform light troubleshooting and keep the workspace organized and safe

Contribute to a team environment where flexibility and collaboration are key

What We’re Looking For

3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with machinery

Experience with die-cutting or converting equipment is helpful but not required

Strong math skills for cutting, measuring, and material usage calculations

Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Comfortable leading others and juggling multiple tasks

Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and help wherever needed
