Job Description

Position Summary:

The Waiter/Server is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. This role includes maintaining cleanliness, coordinating with kitchen staff, and handling guest requests professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service

Greet guests warmly and present menus.

Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and ingredients.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.

Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.

Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.

Address any concerns or complaints in a polite and efficient manner.

Restaurant Operations

Set up dining tables, including linens, cutlery, glasses, and condiments.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.

Follow opening and closing procedures.

Assist other team members when needed to ensure smooth service.

Prepare bills, process payments, and provide receipts.

Coordination & Communication

Communicate special requests or allergies to the kitchen staff.

Ensure all orders are delivered to the correct tables.

Work closely with hosts, kitchen staff, and management to maintain quality service.

Skills & Qualifications:

Previous experience as a waiter/server preferred but not required.

Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic math skills for handling payments.

Positive attitude and professional appearance.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (trays, dishes, etc.).Company Description
